After the movie was over, they watched some tv til Maggie had fallen asleep. He smiled at her, kissed the top of her head and got up- turning off the tv. He picked her up, and carried her upstairs- he laid her in his bed and tucked her in.

He wasnt tired, and he lit up a cigarette and leaned aginst the doorframe- looking outside from his balcony. He stared up at the bright yellow full moon. It was bueatiful.

--The next morning...

Yami woke up to his cellphone going off, he grumbled as he got off of his bed- and walked over to his dresser to get his phone. He flipped it open, and it was just a text message from a kid from school. He texted back, and closed his phone- looking over his shoulder at the bed. "Morning." He smiled at Maggie, who laid in the middle of his huge king size bed.

"Morning." she said sleepily rubbing her eye.

She sat with her legs folved out beside her on either side, one hand on her knee to keep her ballance in that pose. "I guess were late for school today, huh Yami?" she asked yawning.

"I told you last night, we're skipping." He winked at her, he set his phone aside- and walked back over to the bed. "You should probably call your host mom, and tell her- because the school will call your house." He sat down on the bed, grabbed for his pack of smokes that was on his bedstand.

"And I told that old Bastard I'd start coming over there again, so I have to do that this afternoon." He took a cigarette out, and grabbed his lighter.

"Hey!" she quickly got out of the bed and snatched thelighter away form him with a frown. "You promiced you would stop that." she said.

Begrudgingly she handded the lighter back. "Even if it doesnt hurt you- it hurts me." she said sounding more like a teacher scolding a small student what wasnt in her class.

He frowned, "Alright." He put the cigarette back into the pack- and tossed it aside. "Im going to go make us some breakfest, you go ahead and call your host mom. And get dressed." He winked at her, and left the room chuckling- knowing he'd made her blush.

He went downstairs, and stopped- he frowned as he heard the doorbell ring. He went and opened it up, there stood Kiyari with her umbrella. "Morning." He let her come inside, "What are you doing here so early?" He questioned, since normally he would be in school around this time. And she rarely ever came out in the mornings.

"Vincent told me you'd be coming over again, and I had a feeling you wouldnt be at school today." She smiled, and put away her umbrella. "So I thought we could spend the day together, and you could escort me home- when you go to class with Vincent-sensai." Kiyari smiled.

"Yami-kun!" maggie called. "Where are my socks?"

she came down the stairs and froze blinking at the girl who had come in. she looked down. "Oh- uh.... sorry." she said.

She was a vampire. she could tell easily... abnormaly beauityful- pale skin and red eyes... there was no mistaking it.

"Dont worry about it, you took them off down here last night." Yami said casually, and then looked to Kiyari. "I have other plans for right now, Im sorry you came all the way out here for nothing. This is why you need a cellphone." He smiled at her, and picked up her hand- kiss her finguretips. "I will see you later on tonight." He assured her.

Kiyari sent a glare at Maggie, she was apolled that human girl had stayed the night. "Very well." She tried to hide her tone of hurt, "I will see you later on tonight, maybe then- we can dine under candlelight and enjoy some rare wine." She stared Yami in the eye's, "I do look foreward to our dates." She extended her umbrella, and had Yami open the door for her as she left.

Yami closed the door, and looked to Maggie. "Did you call your host mother?" He questioned, walking towards the kitchen.

"Oh." maggie said. she watched the new comer leave and frowned, following yami inoto the kitchen. "yami I didnt know you have a new girlfriend. How come youve never spoken about her to me?" she asked sounding hurt. She liked to think he could tell her anything...

"Girlfriend?" Yami blinked, and then started laughing- he turned around and place his hands on her shoulders. "Kiyari's not my girlfriend, she's just you'know- like me. So she helps me out, like- when I need stuff and what not." He tried to explain, but wasnt doing a good job. "She's not my girlfriend or love interest." He said simply, "She's beautiful, but I dont want her like that."

He let go of Maggie, and turned- opening up the fridge to look over the food to see what he wanted to eat. "Jealous?" He teased.

"no- but I am relieved." she smiled, sitting down. "If you were her boyfriend then it would mean you were keeping secrits from me." she said. "Im just glad to know your not." she said, watching him curiously. "Yami- are you bleeding- or are you being sloopy?" she asked, sounding a bit worried.

He had a small amount of blood running down his chin.

He blinked, "Oh- my bad." He wiped the blood off with his hand, and washed it off in the sink. He didnt say anything else about it, instead he changed the subject. "You still havent answered me- did you call your host mother? Or are you just putting it off?" He glanced over his shoulder at her, raising an eyebrow.

"Hm- Im out of milk-" He observed, once he decided he wanted cereal but didnt have milk for it. He closed the fridge, and crossed his arms as he moved- leaned aginst the counter looking at Maggie.

"I did- and she said it was alright by here." she blinked. "Apparently its time I got out in the sunlight." she smiled.

She got up. "Yami- maybe when you see Mr. Vincent today you can ask him if he would mind you missing lessons for a while." she said. "In a few months- maybe you can com ewith me to England."

The phone rang while she was talking, he went and picked it up. "Hello? Yeah, Im fine." He rubbed the back of his neck, "Dont need to worry about a thing." He paused, nodded his head to the persons words. "Yeah, alright- well I'll catch up with you later. Yeah, be at school tomarrow." He hung up the phone, and looked to Maggie. "Sorry, what were you saying? I should talk to Vincent about what?" He questioned, missing what she'd said.

She shook her head. "Nothing." she said and smiled. "I just wanted to ask you to thank him again for me." she said and got up. "My arms are still sore- and the stiches arent very becoming are they?" she chukled. "You odnt have to force yourself to spend the day with me if you dont want to."

"I never have to force myself to be with you." Yami frowned slightly, "I never want you to feel like that, I care about you Maggie." Yami crossed his arms, and walked over to her. "Maybe you can wear some sleeve's for awhile, just keep it covered up til it heals."

He stopped infront of her, and smiled as he moved some hair out of her face. "I care about you alot Maggie." He could hear her heartbeat speed up, as he leaned in- his hand now behind her neck as he pulled him towards him. Thier lips met, gentally pressed aginst eachother for a moment. He let go of her, and took a step back.

She blinked, stupified and momentarily breathless.

She blushed, reaching up and gently touching her lips. they wre cold where he had kissed her.

"Im not yuki." she said frowning slightly, still blushing.

Was he only on the rebound? Or had that been a real kiss? Either way it was her first kiss.

That thought made her blush all the more. her first kiss was given to her by Yami.

Yami blinked, her words struck him hard. "Yuki's dead." He said bluntly, his tone cold. "I kissed you." Her words hurt him, the mention of Yuki hurt him. He stepped past Maggie, and left the house. And like that he just disappeared.

--Meanwhile...

"She's in no danger, as of last night I practically saved her life from a mad wearwolf." Vincent charmed, sipping some tea as he casually talked to a broad rough looking man. "Ulacard, you worry too much. She should be at her host family resisdent." He set down his tea cup, "Though I dont see why you want to take her to England."

Vincent sat down onto a luxury couch in his study. "I've been keeping an eye out on her, as your comandor as asked of me. She's safe."

She frowned and went to the front door hessidently looking out. "... Leave it to him to run off and not talk." she said softly. she sighed, walking back inside. She grabbed a pice of note paper and sat down at the table and began to write.

'Sorry for what I said Yami. I guess you took me by suprise- and you did tell me earlier you didnt htink you would ever lovve anyone like yuki... Whev ever you get this note, please call me.

Ulacard frowned, picking at his nails as he listened he looekd up at Vincent. "Its about Teresa." he said. "Shes not doing well and I want maggie to have the chance to say goodbye to her mother. Not like her father." he sat up strate and stoped fiddeling, resting his chin on his hands. "And you do have my most sincere thanks for keeping her safe up untill this point. KNowing her- shell be returning once we finish some basic training." he frowned.

"Liz has mentioned a boy of yours, Yami, appering in maggies dreams- alot." he said. "... I think it would be best that we seperated them now anyway- before things escolate and break taboo."

"I assure you, Yami is in no condition to be anything more then a friend. He lost someone special not long ago, humans are so fragile. I encouraged him to not intermingle with humans as much, so he doesnt get too attacthed- but you know he's special." Vincent smiled, "That boy there, is someone alot of people would like to get thier hands on- but we keep him safe from those sort of humans." Vincent said smoothly, as if he was warning Ulacard to know his place. Not a hand should be laid on Yami.

"Vincent-sama, your student is here for you." A servent bowed her head to Vincent, and then exited the room.

Vincent nodded, and then looked to Ulacard. "You should go to her family, send my reguards to Blake." Vincent stood up, bowed his head to Ulacard and then left the room. He walked down the hall, and then into the dinning hall.

"Well, nice of you to come see me Yami."

Ulacard got up, picking his hat up.
He put it on and tilted the brim down as he lit up a cigerette, walking past vincent and yami, the tail of his long coat wafting his scent behind him.

It was similar to maggies.

Maggie got her shoes on and left, locking the house for yami and put the key on the doors frame before leaving. Slowly she began to walk home, Tired and now sad. She had said such hurtful things to yami- and without meaning to... It just slipped out.

Jase was outside watering some of his mothers flowers, as his chore for the day. "Hey sis." Jase smiled at her when he spotted her walking up the driveway. "Hey whats wrong? I got you something for your birthday." He smiled at her.

Minro frowned at her husband, "I dont know- I know he's her uncle and all... But she shouldnt miss so much school..." Minro crossed her arms, letting the soup on the stove boil. "I guess its up to her."

Maggie blinked and smiled. "You didnt have to do that Jase." she said and walked over. she hugged him. "Thank you." she messed up his hair. "Your always so thoughful." she said smiling.

"He said itll be 6 months, 9 at most." he frowned. "Soon their yearly break will be here so if she wants to go- she can go then. the school she misses im sure shell make up there on the internet. Shes a very bright girl." he reasoned and put his cup down, helping her set the table. "... When she comes home, I think thats when we should ask if she wants to be adopted by us."

"But Tay-" Minro was frowning, but heard Jase and Maggie come in the house. "We'll finish this later." She commented as she turned back to her soup, "Welcome home honey." She called out at Maggie.

Jase ran and grabbed the teddybear for Maggie- and handed it to her in the kitchen with a big smile on his face. "Happy late birthday."

"We even made you a cake, which you would have got if you'd have come home." Minro teased.

"Im sorry." she said and blinked smiling. she took the bear and hugged it, then jase, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Tay frowned. "Maggie what happened to your arms?" he asked.

"Oh- I crashed my bike last night. Thats why I didnt come home." she said.

He frowned. 'You were in the hospital and didnt call us?"

"No-" maggie said blinking. " doctor was near by and stitched me up. Yami saw and wouldnt let me come hoome because he said I looked too tired."
It wasnt a total lie...

Tay frowned looking to his wife before aproching maggie. he held out a hand ad maggie blinked holding her arm out to show him. "See? Im okay. Im sorry I worried you." she said and then hugged her host mother. "We can eat the cake tonight." she said, seeing it on the counter still.

Minro frowned at Maggies arms, and then nodded. "Yes, after dinner." She put on a smile, "Then me and your father want to talk to you about what we were talking about on the phone."

Jase hugged Maggie back, and let go of her so she could hug her mother as well. He didnt know what they were talking about, since they hadnt told him that Maggies real uncle was here to take her to England for awhile. "Whats going on?" He questioned, but only had his mom explain that they'll talk about it as a family tonight after dinner.

Jase shrugged, and heard someone knock on the door. "I'll get it." He went to the door, and opened it up.
