Maggies coworker Jean grabbed Maggies arm, and had her walk with her. "They're in our section." She smiled at her, and walked with her towards the exculded fancy dinning room. "They're so beautiful- its like the gathering of beautiful people."

She paused before opening the doors to the private dinning area, "All look very very rich too." She winked, "Good tips I bet." She whispered, and winked.

"They look like gods." she gasped peeking out. "Oh wow... I would give anything to look like that." she said admiring the woman in a long red dress.

She looked to her friend. "Ill go get the drink order, you bring out soem bread sticks okay?" she smiled, opening the door going into the dining room.

She aproched the table with a smile on her face, her silver cross dangeling arund her neck.

"Good evening." she greeted. "My names maggie- Ill be one of your waitress' today."

Her coworker had garbed some breadsticks, and fallowed in behind her. "And my name is Jean, how may we serve you today?" She asked sweetly, placing the bread sticks on the two tables that were brought together to make one huge one.

Both of the tables in the excluded room, were full of beautiful men and woman. The room was only lit with dim lights, and the candles lit on the tables. "Fine wine will be pleasent enough for us all." A man spoke in a velvet tone, seemingly the host of this group. "Red wine." He smiled, his pale skin and bright breath taking green eye's were enough to stop a heart. "Thank you."

One of the woman smiled, "If you could be so kind, please bring us some shrimp appertizors." She smiled at Maggies Co-worker, Jean. "You both just look so adorable and delcious in those outfits." She commented with almost a sinister meaning behind it.

Jean bowed her head, and nodded. "Of course, I'll be right back." With that she turned, and quickly went to retieve thier order of shrimp in a timely mannor.

She nodded. "Thank you ma'am." she smiled, then followed her back into the kitchen, putting glasses on her tray and letting the other girl grab the wine.

She hessitated and looked over her shoulder, feeling like someone wat watching her.

Pushing the feeling aside, she went back out, putting the glasses down as the other girl came behind to fill them.

Another girl came out just to drop off the shrimp before going back inside.

"Have you had enough time to look over the menus?" maggie asked. "Oh- careful!" she reached over, grabbing a glass from midair, seeing jean assidently bump it off with the bottle.

She winced, her ring breaking the thin crystal so it cut her hand.

Jean blinked, "Oh Im so sorry-" She grabbed a spare napkin off her tray, and handed it to Maggie. "I'll take the orders, go get that washed off." She smiled at Maggie, and set the wine into the ice tray set next to thier table. "May I tell you about our specials, and recommended ontrays?" She said sweetly to the group.

But they all seemed quite focused on Maggie, which was a bit odd. One even licked her lips.

Maggie hurried into the backroom, wincing as she took the napkin away. it was bleeding pretty bad...

"..." she frowned and walked to the sink, using the super glue in the first aird kid to close it, hiting her lip. it stung!

After she washed her hands, more than she needed too- almost over flowing the sink with vinella soap suds.

She looked aroud and grabed a silver tray- putting her wooden one down.

She had seen their eyes. seen how they reacted to the blood...

"ow..." she whined slightly, turning and grabed a paper towel. she wrapped it aorund her hand, just in case and headded back out.

Jean was leaving the private area as Maggie was coming to assist her. "If your fine, go ahead and refill thier glasses. Im taking thier orders to the kitchen." She casually continued walking towards the kitchen.

They were exchaning small chit chat, and laughing- some having a small debate. Overall just looked like a bunch of important rich people, who all had flawless beauty. It was the Host who'd waved for Maggie to come to him, he requested for her to refill his- and the others wine glasses. "Silver." He commented, "Smart girl."

The woman sitting next to him lightly bit on her thumb nail as she looked Maggie over, a smile in her eye's- as if she was delighted for what she saw. "You smell wonderful."

"Thank you sir." she said to the host glancing uneasily at the woman who complemented her. "Oh- its the hand soap." she said. "Im sorry about earlier." she added with a small bow, filling te womans glass with her good hand. she did well to press her cut one against the cold tray she had with her.

She frowned looking over her shoulder. Her boss was watching her again...

She excused herself, promicing to bring out more shrimp and slipped past the man, keeping her eyes down as she went.

It was the host of the group who spoke up, "Dont worry a bit, it could happen to anyone." He said in a velvet tone, his name was Vincent- as the others in the group had been calling him that. He smiled, and nodded as she excused herself. He noticed her boss, and knew what he was. Of course, thats why he came here. To be served.

One lady, sitting next to him- touched his arm gentally. "Silver, does she know?" She questioned, "Is she a threat?" Once she recieved a shake of the head, to tell her no- she let go of his arm. "If you say so."

When Maggie came back she had a black lace glove on her hand. they had them incase it was cold out while serving, but it worked for covering cuts as well.

She put the shrimp down. "Your meals will be served in a few minutes." she said, going the ounds to fill their glasses once more.

--By the end of the night...

They were escorted out to thier nice cars, or limo's that waited for them. Some left by themselves, others left as a couple. Though they were there for several hours, they didnt eat much of thier meal. Just the wine and shrimp.

Vincent walked towards the doors, but puased and turned to Maggie who stood at the door to keep it open. "Smart girl." He smiled, and picked up her hand with the laced glove. "Though we're not the one's to worry about." He winked, and leaned in- kissing her fingertips. He then let go of her hand- and walked away out the open doors.

--Meanwhile...

Yami looked at the time, and frowned. "Shit-" He got off the couch, and set aside a book he was reading. He grabbed his coat, and was putting on his shoe's as he stumbled for the door almost loosing balance. "I should have left an hour ago- oh well..." He headed out to Maggies place.

She blinked, blushing lightly... It was impossibly not to notice how gorgious he was...

She bit her lip, going back into the kitchn. she glanced at the clock and sighed. "Still another hour to go..." she muttered.

"Maggie- the boss wants to borrow your face." a girl said passing by,

She blinked. "Oh..." she looked around, seeing he was waiting for her at the back entrance.

Had somethign happened to her bike?

"You wanted to speak to me, sir?" she asked walking over.

Her boss stood there, arms crossed- and a mad look in his eye's. He was a shorter man with lots of body hair, but also had some muscle to him. "I want you to come out back with me." He grabbed her arm, tightly, and walked into the allyway with her. "I-" He paused, his voice out of tone- and he had to clear his voice. Something was wrong. "I dont exactly like-" He coughed, and hit his chest with his fist. "I dont like how you think you can show up late."

He glanced up, the moon shown brightly- it was a full moon. "I think of that as disrespect and-" He stopped, his eye's a bit wide. Maddness, thats what shown in them. He clenched his fist, and a growl came from his chest. His nails seemed to have grown longer. He lungded at her, grabbed her arms tightly- cutting into them with his claws. "Now Im going to eat you!" He yelled.

So maggie did what was humanly natural.

she let out a blood curteling shreak and tried to push him away, tearing her arms open in the process.

Yami walked down the street, and turned down Maggies street. he walked up to the front door, and knocked. Knowing Maggies host father was at work, her host mother was probably in bed- but Jase usually stayed up late to play video games. And of course he was right, Jase answered the door. "Hey little man." He rubbed the top of Jases head, and smiled. "Whats up? Your sister asked me to stop by."

Jase smiled at Yami, and laughed as he tried to get away from Yami's hand messing up his hair. "Hahaha- stop Yami." He let Yami in, and shut the door behind him. "Why'd she do that? Is she working late again?" He wondered.

"Yeah, should get off in a hour or so."

"What'd you get her for her birthday? I got her a teddy bear, but then again I dont have much money. Only have what I get for allowence." Jase paused, "But I guess I wont be able to give it to her til she gets home."

"Birthday...? Oh F***..." Yami grumbled, and rubbed the back of his neck. "Thats why she was looking at me like that! I forgot... Again..."

--Meanwhile...

He threw her against the stone wall of the building, and growled madly- completly enraged as he ran at her once again grabbing onto her arms and tearing them up.

"Thought so." A calm tone came as he was suddenly ripped off of Maggie. There was Vincent, his eye's shown brightly as they flashed red- he bent over her boss and latched onto his neck. The beast screamed and struggled til he went limp. Vincent pulled himself back, and wiped his mouth with his sleeve as he stood up.

He let out a sigh, "Nasty beast."

Maggie cried out when he was torn off of her, falling to the ground. Her arms hurt...

She watched, horrfied as the beauityful man beared his fangs and bit into the owner.

She felt light headded.... She'd been right.

Fogged form the bleeding she was slow to make the conections.... she was bleeding.... and a vampire was in the ally way just a few feet from her.

She coudlnt even be by yami with a paper cut!

A voice in the back of her head told her to run, scream again, anything.... but she didnt.

She stared, trembeling. "Y-you...." she blinked, clearing aweay the tears that had sprung into her eyes. "Thank you." she mannaged to squeek out, pale and dizzy. Her ears were ringing form being slambed into the stone wall...

Happy birthday dearest maggie... not.

"Your going to attract attention dear." He commented as he kneeled down next to her, he frowned at how cut up she'd managed to get. "Dont be affraid, Im not going to hurt you. I do have self control. It come's with age." He smiled kindly, and helped apply pressure to the cuts, to help stop the bleeding. "Let me help you inside, and get these cuts washed out."

He helped her to her feet, but he wasnt going to force her to do anything- so he waited for her to ask something of him.

--Meanwhile...

"You can go get something before she gets off work." Jase suggested, "Anyways, I took my medicin if thats what Maggie was worried about." He laughed, and rubbed the back of his neck. "Well I was headed to bed, I'll see you later Yami-kun."

"Yeah, good kid." He rubbed his head again before walking out the door.

She didnt ask him any questions. Insted she murrmured another thank you, hugging herself shakkily as he helped her inside. she winced and frowned... Yami wouldnt want her watchign a movie with him tonight if she was bleeding... and she was fairly sure that the bleeding would still be going by the time shegot home.

After gettign wrapped up like a mummy she looked up at him. She smiled lightly. "Thank you." she said, this time clearly and humbely. "You saved me and proved to me I can achive a goal." she said.

Some of her coworkers gasped at the sight of Maggies arms being torn up, but Vincent had them back off and bring some martials he needed to fix her up. "And what goal is that dear?" He questioned, as he unwrapped her arms so he could fix her up. "This might sting, but it'll clean the cut." He poured some alcohol on her cuts, and dabbed at them to clean up the blood. And then he proceeded to sew her deep cuts up.

--Meanwhile...

Yami walked down the street, trying to think of something he could get her at this late hour.

She kept her voice down in a whisper she used to speak to yami in when she didnt want anyone else to hear. "I can convince my friend that with enough practice- he can live like a normal person and not hide."

She grimiced as he stiched her up and looked away. It hurt, but it hurt less when she wasnt watching.

"Oh? And why's that?" He questioned, speaking in a calm quite tone. He gentally continued to sew up her cuts, he was pretty good at this- you had to wonder how he'd gotten so good. Even though Maggie didnt know it, he knew who she was. He knew she was important. And he deffinatly couldnt have some unbehaved wearwolf take her life.

--Meanwhile...

Yami thought about some movie's they'd watch together, and what she'd said she'd liked the most. He paused, for a second, he thought he smelled Maggie. He shook his head, told him it was his imagenation- and kept walking. He was only a block away from her work.

"Because your doing it." she said. she winced, then smiled when he finished. She bowed. "Thank you very much." she said.

For such a smart girl- she was awefully trusting.

The closer yami got to her work- the stronger her scent got- heavily laden with iron.

"Yes, but sadly its hard to teach others my way." He finished sewing her up, "Im old, much older then I look. And I've been trying to unite, and bring peace among everyone for quite some time. But living as someone such as you, is impossible for us." He explained, and stood up- reaching out his hand to help her up to her feet.

Yami clenched his fist, having a very bad feeling- he could smell her blood strongly in the air. "Maggie-" He breathed out, and started to run towards the resturaunt. He ran to the ally, fallowing her scent, the was a dead corpse of a horrible looking wareman. He noticed right away the bite marks- and blood splattered aginst the stone wall.

She blinked and accepted his help. "Never the less." she smiled brightly. "Its a start." she said.

"Im afraid I dont have anythign to think you with unless..." she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small silk rose. "Its nothing someone likeyou would probobly value much." she said. "But I would like for you to take it."

In the palm of her hand the rose was no bigger than her thumb, obviously hand made- and a rich red color.

Vincent smiled, and accepted the rose from her. "Thank you." He bowed his head, and looked up to see a frantic Yami come through the back doors. "Oh, Yami-kun." He smiled brightly, "How lovely for you to be here, I was just thinking about you. You dont ever come by to see me anymore, what is a teacher to do?"

Yami blinked, and quickly went over to Maggie, "What happened? What are you doing here Vincent?" He demanded, and grabbed Maggies hands- seeing her arms sewed up.

"Rude." Vincent sighed, "She was attacked. I was mearly there to lend a helping hand."
