"Judus and Aeon are out tonight." Zero frowned at Liz, "Im not worried a bit. I do know how to protect myself, even though Im just a woman who files everything." Zero walked towards the door, because the maid wouldnt leave til they did. "I just want to drink tonight, since its a rare night we can without getting in trouble." She winked.

Maggie frowned. "I dont need a baby sitter." she said defiently when she realised they planned on leaving her with Liz.

Zero was already out at her rental car, she just wanted to get out of there- not knowing if any of the others were coming. Didnt care really, she just wanted to drink.

The maid frowned, "If you wish, I will see Tiffanys child to bed." She nodded, "She'll be safe here, the whole house protected for Tiffanys sake." The maid assured, "We protect out misstress from any harm, and we will protect her daughter as well."

Maggie frowned and gave ulacard a pleading look.

He shook his head. "Stay the nigth here maggie... youll need your rest for tomorrow." he said and kissed her forhead- a sig on endearment. "itll be okay. Liz is great at card games."

liz sighed, glancing at the maids. "Dont worry- we wont disturb lady tiffany." she said.

Maggie frowned, unconchiously hugging her stuffed anial as ulacard left.

Liz faced the girl and blinked. "Arent you a little old for toy, maggie?"

"... My brother gave it to me for my birthday." she said hiding her face in the doll. she closed her eyes and inhaled the scent of her real hoome- back in japan...

"... I see." she sighed.

Zero was about to leave when she saw Ulacard come out, she waited for him- then they drove into town. They arrived at a bar, "This looks like a good once, I mean- seems there are alot of people here- must be good." She got out of the car, locking the doors and put her keys into her purse.

They got inside the building, and made thier way to the bar. "A shot of vodka please."

Zero looked to Ulacard, "So is Tiffany really as bad as they say she is? Thats so depressing, she's so young... I mean, why would God see fit to take her away?"

"Who knows..." ulacard said swirling his brandy. "But yeah.... shes pretty bad." he said his eyes softening. "I dont think I can bear losing another important woman in my life." he said. "If anything were to happen to maggie....." she closed his eyes and took a sip. "I dont like her hanging oaround vampires who can kill her as fast as look at her..."

"Thats not fair Ulacard." Zero took her shot, and ordered another one. "You've been around Vampires you whole life, and you've never been harmed by any close to you. I mean physically..." Zero rubbed the back of her neck, "And well- I mean thats how Aeon is. Her life is her job, anything else is just fun. Thats why she didnt even keep her own kid." Zero shrugged, "Not like my brother wanted it. Poor kid." Though that was funny, it was always Aeon telling Ulacard that his job was his life. Obviously Zero didnt know her like Ulacard did.

He frowned and gave her an odd look before finishing his drink. "Order me a pitcher..."

Maggie sat on her bed, dressedin her night gown with her phone to her ear, hoping yami would answer.
for the third time it went to voice mail.

Liz frowned, watching form thedoorway silently as maggie gave up- dropping the phone, burring her face in herknees to cry misrubbly.

Zero took her shot, and ordered herself a beer. "Ulacard, you need to be more trusting." She winked, "Seriously, not everyone out in the world is bad. You just deal with alot of bad things, so your thinking more negativly. But dont dwell on bad times, dwell on good times!" Zero chuckled, and then glanced over- seeing Judus and Aeon. "O.m.g."

Aeon looked at them, and then frowned- turning away to walk away but Judus caught her. He walked her over to Zero and Ulacard, mainly because he thought they were there to contact them. "Yes?" Judus looked stolic, as always.

"Oh? What? No." Zero laughed, "Totally not contact, we're just getting drunk." Zero raised her beer, then took a nice big swig. She was curious how Ulacard and Aeon acted around eachother.

Aeon seemed a bit uncomfortable, which was odd- she usually seemed collected and cool about everything. But since earlier, Aeon had been thinking hard- which she always did after she saw Ulacard. Or at least for the last two time's she'd seen him since she left him. She didnt make eye contact, just mearly let her eye's wander.

"We're scouting out public area's, looking for E-class's." He simply explained.

"Oh..." ulacard said then looked to the bartender. "Strongest biggest what ever you got." he said flattly- purpously keeping his expression unreadable.
He was still amazingly attractive for a man his age. 43 and still smokin hot. Sure- he was getting the faint lines of age- but nothing extreem or what could be concitered unsightly.

Liz walked in and sat on the edge of the bed by maggie with a frown. "Trying to reach somone special?" she inquired.

Maggie nodded unto her knees, not looking up.

Liz frowned and reached a hand out, gently strong the young girls hair. "I know how card that can be." she said. "... Why dont we go out to the town tonight while your uncle is out." she offered. "Ill treat us to some nice fish and chips- then maybe a movie." she sugested.

When maggie peeked up at her with bloodshot eyes she smiled. It was rare for liz to smile- but seeing maggie in person after so many years was, in her eyes, cause to celebrate. She had, afterall, been her nightly guardian while she slept for the past 15 years.

"Your such an alcoholic Ulacard." Zero laughed, and macked his shoulder lightly. "Oh hell, give me another shot."

Aeon looked exactly the same as he'd remebered her, elegant and dark. Vampires were indeed perfect creatures. She brought her fingure up to her full lips, and bit on the nail lightly as she was in thought. He knew her well, as she knew him- but there was such a berrier built up between them. The biggest betrayal to him was her leaving, but not only that she left him- that she was pregnat with another mans child.

Judus nodded, "Then we'll be leaving you guys to your night."

"See ya." he said, looking over with a frown at aeon before sucking down his drink.
he put the glass doen, just allowing the liquor to fog his mind. he didnt want to think of her- he just wanted to be drunk.

Why is he looking at me? Aeon questioned to herself, that upset her a bit. She wanted to not blame herself for how he was, but how could she not? He was deffinatly differant. She rolled her eye's at him, setting up her defense of not caring- as she turned on her heel and started to walk through the crowd to the exit. Judus fallowing her.

"Thats so wierd, that they'd just show up here." Zero took her shot, and set the empty shot glass back down. "But you cant make a person disappear unless you kill em, and honestly Im fond of Aeon." She snickered, drinking some of her beer. She was deffinatly feeling the alcohol. "Have you tried just fucking someone? Usually helps. But then again, I shouldnt be giving relationship advice- I never can stay in one for long. Well, usually cause Im traveling all over the place for the organization." She sighed.

"Or maybe because youve gone and fucked one too many men yourself?" ulacard raised an eyebrow at zero before getting up. "Im gonna go play shots. You stay out of trouble."

After respectfully declining, maggie picked up her phone one last time, dialing Yami's home phone this time. She knew they didnt have caller ID there.

Vincent had invited for Yami to come stay with him for a few days, and Vincent hadnt said anything more about Maggie.

--Meanwhile...

"At least Im not moping around, sex is fun. Try it." Zero laughed at him, she took another shot as he walked off. She leaned on the counter and thought for a moment- on how Aeon and her brother had met. It must have been in Japan for sure. But what had happened? Aeon seemed to loved Ulacard.

Zero shrugged, and glanced around the bar for some cute guy.

--Meanwhile...

Judus looked back at Maggie, "You look distracted." They were standing ontop of a three story building, looking down at people on the streets. So they could view a wide area.

"Sorry, just thinking." Aeon responded, as she stared down at the people below. She could see couples, groups of people laughing, or the ocassional alone person. She didnt like being alone. She'd been married before, when she was younger- but that marriage didnt end well when he was put into the ground.

Maggie sighed and hung up- getting up off of her bed. she crept out and listened intently to liz's door. it sounded like the woman was asleep...

Going back to her room she quickly got dressed, careful not to make too much noise.

She winced, looking down at her stitched up arms. Shed torn one.... ow.

Ignoring the pain and the blood she went to the balcony- opened the window and snuck out- having locked the door to her room before doing so.

"I work too much." Aeon commented, "I need a daaay off." She breathed out, "You know, get out there- at least get laid. All I do is kill E-classes around it, its quite boring. And its annoying we cant find the vampire that made all of these damn e-classes."

Aeon let her legs dangle over the edge of the building, she noticed she'd held herself back that last sixteen years. After Yami had been born, she'd given him to her father- not wanting anything to do with raising a child. Selfish. She'd advoided contact with anyone in any sexual way. Which was very odd. She'd felt so guilty. No more. She told herself, she couldnt keep making herself feel this way. She needed to feel that freedom she'd had before.

She'd been so affraid of commitment, so affraid of loosing a mortal man- that she'd made the biggest mistake of her life.

"Then do it. Dont bitch about it." Judus said bluntly, but thats just how he was.

Maggie landded lightly o her feet in the soft grass below before looking around. No maids were outside- which wasnt uncommon... thye never did seem to like the night as much as maggie did.

Keeping a quiet as she could she hurried off, headded down the road to the train tacks about a mile south of the house. She always used to go there when she had something to think about.

"You smell good." A creepy voice came, it was a younger guy- but he looked a bit derranged. "What brings you to my area?" The boy questioned. He was walking towards her, and there wernt many places to just hide- it was all open area.

There were two more, lingering back a bit- but still were staring at her.

A shiver ran down maggies back, causing her to shudder.

Looking over she blinked at the boy. "I live here." she saidin her own defence.The other two boys creeped her out as well, just staring at her.

She frowned, slowly kneeling down. she wrapped her hands around a rock. It wasnt like her to be afraid of people- period... maybe because she knew deep down that yami woud always find her if he needed....

But this was Britten. Not Japan.

"Over there." Aeon pointed out, "By those traintracks on the outline of the city." Aeon stood up, "Could be possible E-classes." She loaded her gun, and jumped off the side of the building- landing gracefully on the road. Some people gasped, questioning where she'd come from. Aeon took off, running quickly- then suddenly disappearing into the shadows.

Judus nodded, and jumped from rooftop to rooftop- keeping up with her incredible speed. Aeon arrived before him though, just as one of the guys were moving in on Maggie- Aeon had to make sure her target was a Vampire before killing it.

Maggie stepped back from him, standing up- holding the rock in her hand.

Judus' phone rang.
It was Liz.

Judus ignored his ringing phone, "Yes or no?" He called out to Aeon, Aeon yelled back a yes- and within seconds the three guys fell to the ground. Aeon ran over to Maggie, and grabbed her arm lightly. "Maggie, what are you doing out here?" Aeon said in a worried, almost motherly tone.

Judus looked at his phone after he'd put his guns away, he redialed and let it ring.

Liz answered the phone. "Maggies gone missing." she said imediatly.

Maggie blinked, dropping the rock with a small thud.
"They...." she blinked, tears comming to her eyes. they had just... vanished. turned into dust.
Looking up at aeon- slightly in shock she ignored the pain in her arm and hugged the woman. She couldnt help but cry and trust her.... Somethign about the woman was just.... sheltering.
Her heart banged loudly in her chest, frightened like she haddnt been frightened even in the ally way. "Were those...." she asked shakily.
The look in their eyes.... like she was food. They reminded her of wild animals- not vampires... all the vampires she knew were lovely kind looking people- who wouldnt harm a fly...

Aeon frowned, "Those are E-class vampires. They're human turned Vampires who arnt taken care of by thier master." Aeon explained as the girl hugged onto her. "Its a pity, but they're a threat." Aeon lightly hugged her back, "Come'on, lets get you back to your mothers... I'll take you there myself." Aeon lowered herself so Maggie could look her in the face. "Alright Maggie?"

Judus nodded, "Yes, I know- we have her."
