Inside these walls

"Well that I can agree with." Seri commented, but she was annoyed. The kid bothered her before, and now had to run off and make more trouble for her? Brat. She fallowed after Hyan and Raidon, she knew they'd be running most of the time- and she hated that too. She never liked to be rushed on a mission. She just lit up another cigarette and ran after them, Raidon cutting the way through the thick jungle til they reached the spot the kid got out from.

"Well this kid isnt stupid, his father was a Hunter- which is why the King is having us do this damned mission. But he knows alot, he tried showing off his knowledge- but just knowing and never doing wont save you out here."

Hyan looked south following a trail of crushed foliage "This way." he pointed down the path and rushed off

Seri put out her cigarette on a tree, and grumbled as she fallowed after Hyan. "So what do you make of all these attacks? Planned, or controlled? Or really just some freak actiddent?"

Raidon laughed, "You never give up Seri." Now that they were on an open path, he didnt have to cut his way through the jungle. They were looking for little marks, or footprints to indicate where the kid was going or where he'd gone. Thats what they were trained to do, track and kill- or in this case save. "Who knows- the Kings being paranoid."

Hyan stoped in the middle of the path "what the-" he was stareign at a sleeping Miz on his newly killed Deathstalker gem in hand

Seri clenched her fist, she walked over to him and yanked him up by the collar of his shirt. "You damned brat!" She snapped at him, "What the hell are you trying to prove? Good fucking job- you killed a beast! So what! Now your coming with us." She snapped.

Raidon chuckled, "Looks like relationship issues." He teased, knowing Seri hadnt had a love intrest since she was the age of 15. And that love intrest of her's was killed out here. "Alright Hyan, take the boy back to his mom or lock him up?" Raidon questioned, knowing the final result would be of the Kings order- so they really had little choice in what to do with the kid.

Hyan sighed "Let's take him back to HQ, see what made him do this." he turned around and began to walk

Seri nodded, and took out a pair of restaints. She cuffed him, and huffed. "Come'on brat."

Raidon looked to Hyan, "Right. Lets get going now, I dont have a good feeling about this area." He commented, his hand on the hilt of his blade as he looked around. "So lets stay alert, and go back the way we came." He looked back to Hyan, "We're lucky the sun hasnt set, you know how bad it gets in the dark." He nodded at Hyan, because they'd got trapped together in the darkness once. They lost three other men that were on thier team at that time.

Hyan just looked over his shoulder and nodded, he then took off Miz still asleep on his back.

--That morning...

Seri stirred from her sleep, her eye's fluttered open- and she stared up at Raidon who'd came into the waiting room where she'd fallen asleep. "The King ruled the boy is not to be punished, and releashed back to his mother." Raidon sat down next to Seri, "He, the King, seemed a bit nervous." Raidon leaned back, and glanced at the tv. "I wonder why."

Seri leaned forward, and rubbed her temples. "Well whatever." She yawned, "Im suppose to have today off- Im going home." She stood up, and streched out her arms. "My cats need fed anyways, its been like a few days since I've been in my own bed." She winked at Raidon, "You to." She chuckled, and walked away from him- waving at Hyan as she walked past him.

"Dont ask me." Raidon said with a grin, "She's going home like a good girl today." He stood up, "I guess that means we should escort that boy home with his mother."

Hyan shook his head "Not just yet, he fell right back asleep after we returned from the kings palace," his smile then faded as took a seat in his chair "also i want to keep him here as to study him, I mean you and I both saw that he took down a young Deathstalker alone, where as it usualy takes at least teo or three novices to do so, I want to keep him here to what he knoes, kids to smart for his own good."

"His father was an excellent Hunter, his death is a mystery. No one knows what happened, and you cant find it in the files- I checked. Im guessing it was something big, and they had to cover it up." Raidon explained to Hyan, "I dont know anything on the boy, other then he has an issue fallowing the rules. He looks like he'd make a good Hunter, but he's young. And under the Kings decree- everyone has to finish school."

"the fact remains that the boy is going to stay here until tommorow, we will just tell his parents, that we need to watch him since he got bit by the spider." he answered

"Alright, whatever you want to do Hyan." He got up, "I'll go call his mother, and tell her what is happening- and that we need to keep him for another day." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Then meet you back here?" He questioned, "Or just page me."

He waved his hand in the air as he walked towards the front office to use thier phone.

Hyan just nodded and head back twords the containment room.

--Later on that day...

Seri showed up later that afternoon, which she usually did when she finally got days off. She got bored, and came back to do her job. Even though she complained she didnt get enough days off. But then again, she just liked to complain.

"How are things going guys?" Seri questioned as she walked up to Raidon, and Hyan who stood outside one of the containment rooms door. "Any progress? Why are you holding the kid here?"

"Hyan wanted to." Raidon responded to Seri, "Got bored?" He chuckled, knowing she had.

"Yeah." She looked to Hyan, "So whats up? What have you been doing all day?" She questioned, since she'd left them over ten hours ago.
